I ordered this for my mother, after she happened to mention how much she missed her lava lamp from the seventies that got broken years ago. I agonized a bit over the pink chrome and pink fluid, as I know they didn't have those options back in the day, but it turned out to be the perfect choice. She is thrilled with it. My sole complaint is that the seller does not offer gift wrapping, but the product itself is beautiful, high quality, and pleasing even to someone old enough to have owned an original.
